With a background shaped by personal style, a love of objects, and visual storytelling, Sutton can take a project from the initial idea to the final shot — developing the visual direction, sourcing wardrobe and props, and bringing it all together on set.

She has a particular love for finding the piece that doesn’t necessarily make sense on paper, but somehow makes the whole image work. Her approach is instinctive—mixing high and low, polished and unexpected, to create images that feel layered, considered, and full of personality. She’s drawn to color, texture, interesting proportions, vintage finds, and the slightly offbeat details that keep an image from feeling too perfect.
